Clinton, Iowa--Services for Charles N. Chase, 72, Clinton Manor Nursing Home, a retired employee of the Chicago & North Western Railway will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shadduck-Cannon Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation is at the funeral home.

Mr. Chase died Wednesday in Jane Lamb Hospital.

Mr. Chase was born in 1896 in Wheatland. He married Hanna katherine Hinz July 8, 1921. She died in 1955.

Mr. Chase was employed as a track walker for the railroad and later as a flagman in the west yards. He retired in 1955 after 35 years service.

Mr. Chase is survived by * five daughters and two sons. And a brother George Chase of Davenport.
