Funeral services for Jeanette D. Stowers, 25, and her infant daughter, who died March 23 from injuries suffered in a car-train accident, were conducted Monday at SS Philip and James Catholic Church, Grand Mound. Visitation was at Kelly-Schultz Funeral Home.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Grand Mound. Pallbearers were Curt Thayer, James Ketelsen, Lee Gasper, Mark McNiel, Kenneth Eschbach and Dennis Eckelberg.
Jeanette Stowers was born May 14, 1964 in Clinton. She had been employed with Waterbed Creations in Grand Mound.
Surviving are her mother, Geneva Jansen of Calamus; three brothers, David J. Stowers of Eldridge, Michael Mills and Ernest Jansen, both of Calamus; and maternal grandparents, Tony and Lydia Kinney of Clinton.
