Clinton Herald, Monday April 10, 1972:
"Clinton--Mrs. Christine Brown, 80 widow of the late Robert Brown who died in May 1964, died this morning in the Wyndcrest Nursing Home. Arrangements are pending at the Dalton Funeral Home."

Clinton Herald, Wednesday April 12, 1972:
"Clinton--Mrs. Christine Brown
The funeral service for Mrs. Christine Brown, 79, who died Monday in the Wyndcrest Nursing Home will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Dalton Funeral Home. The Rev. George Sheils of First United Methodist Church will officiate adn burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Elmer Donsalla, Raymond Humburg, Robert Sorensen, Kenneth Strommen, Calvin Wendell and Lowell Ytzen.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday.
Christine, daughter of Chris and Maren Ytzen was born April 16, 1892 in Clinton. She married Robert Brown. He died on May 6, 1964. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and a charter member of the Ladies Auxillary to the Professional Fire Fighters.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Olson of Syracuse, N.Y., one son, Robert H. of Lafayette Hill, Pa., two sisters, Mrs. Maude Hansen and Mrs. Arthur Humburg both of Clear Lake, and two brothers, Julius of Columbia, Tenn., and Harold of Port Richey, Fla.
