"Mrs. Maren C. Ytzen;
Mrs. Maren Catherine Ytzen, 99, died Thursday evening in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Brown, 1403 Camanche Ave. The body is at Snell-Smith funeral home where arrangements are pending.
She was born March 21, 1861, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germay, the daughter of Jurgen L Christiensen and Catherine Petersen Christiensen and came to America and Clinton in 1888. She was married June 2, 1891, in Clinton, to Christ Ytzen.
Surviving are three sons, Chris and Harold of Clinton and Julius of Columbia, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Christine) Brown of Clinton and Mrs. Hans (Maude) Hansen and Mrs. Arthur (Catherine) Humburg of Clear Lake; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew. Preceding her in death were husband and a son, Carl."

Funeral services for Mrs. Maren C. Ytzen, 99, who died Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Brown, 1403 Camanche Ave., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Snell-Smith funeral home. Dr. G. Dempster Yinger, pastor of the First Methodist church will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 7 p.m. tonight.
Burial will be in Springdale cemetery."

Funeral services for Mrs. Maren C. Ytzen, 99, 1430 Camanche Ave. were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Snell-Smith funeral home with Dr. G. Dempster Yinger, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. Arnold Bernsten was vocalist and Mrs. W. G. Bockel was organist. Burial was in Springdale cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robert O Ytzen, Darrell J. Ytzen, Lowell B. Ytzen, Carl Humburg, Kenneth Humburg and Donald Humburg., grandsons."
