Linda R. Wilke, 68, of Clinton, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, Clinton.

Services will be 10:30am, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home. Following the services the body will be cremated.

Linda Rae Kair was born on January 28, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Leonard and Virginia (Striley) Kair. She was a 1962 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Gary Wilke on April 10, 1964 in Clinton.

Linda was employed at Sweetheart Bakery and at the Dollar General.

Linda is survived by her husband: Gary of Clinton; one son: Jeffrey (Petra) Wilke of Clinton; one brother: Dennis (Carol) Kair of Clinton; and one sister: Mary Ann Prestley of Clinton.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and a daughter.
