Cecelia M. Chatterson, 84, of Fort Collins, Colorado and formerly of Clinton, Iowa died Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Ft. Collins. Services will be 10:30 am Friday, May 18, 2012 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be from 4-to 7 pm Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.

Cecelia was born January 27, 1928 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Theodore and Luella (Brown) Long. She was a 1946 Clinton High School graduate and also was a 1970 graduate of the Nursing program at Clinton Community College.

Cecelia M. Long married Richard H. Chatterson August 18, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa; Richard died January 2, 1997.

She was employed as a LPN at Jane Lamb Hospital for 26 years.

Cecelia was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter Deborah and her son Jason of Colorado; brothers, Robert (Myra) Long of Sacramento, California and James (Shirley) Long of Las Vegas, Nevada and sister-in- law Lila Long of Godfrey, Illinois.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents Theodore and Luella, son Richard, grandson Joshua and brother Eugene.

Memorials may be made to Saint Paul Lutheran Church.
