The Clinton Herald Tuesday December 18, 1875 p 4 Calamus December 27, 1875 An old man by the name of Chas. Hill, an old resident of Olive township was found dead at his residence at the old Buena Vista farm this morning. He has no relatives here in this county, but has a son in the western part of this State, one in Nebraska, and one in Oregon. He had lived here about 25 years and was a man worth $6,000 or $7,000. The jury of inquest are now investigating the matter. One Of The Jury.
