Clinton, Iowa - Donald F. Aude age 86 of Clinton, died Wednesday March 28th at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be held 9:30 am Saturday March 31st at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday 4 – 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery, Clinton. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Donald was born on Aug. 13, 1925 in Goose Lake, Iowa, the son of Ferdinand and Helma (Martinsen) Aude. He was an US Army Air Force veteran. He married Marilyn Manning on Jan. 9, 1954 in Clinton. Donald worked as a process operator at the former Clinton Corn in Clinton for many years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Clinton Moose Lodge. Donald enjoyed going to his coffee club at Hardees, going out to eat, and spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his wife, Marilyn Aude of Clinton; six sons, James Aude of Clinton, Randy Aude of Clinton, Bruce Aude of Coal Valley, IL, Bryan (Lorie) Aude of Clinton, Paul Aude of Clinton, and Jeff (Kim) Aude of Clinton; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Kermit Aude, a sister, Janet (Tom) Hynous, and two sister-in-laws, Donna and Helen Aude. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sons, John and Edward, granddaughter, Lacy, a great granddaughter, Hailey, two brothers, and a sister.
