Clinton - Marian L. Boerema age 87 of Clinton died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Eagle Point Nursing Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 15th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fulton Township Cemetery.

Marian was born in Fulton on October 7, 1924, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Wulf) Wierema. She graduated from Fulton High School and received her LPN training at Jane Lamb School of Nursing. Marian married Herman Boerema on July 1, 1944 in Phoenix City, Alabama. Herman passed away on November 7, 1997. Marian was an LPN at Mercy Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing.

Marian is survived by a daughter, Susan (Ian) Duncanson of Centennial, CO; two sons, Lonny (Lori) Boerema of Clinton and Ted (Gail) Boerema of West Bend, WI; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Leann, Karen, Stacy, and Samuel; four great grandchildren, Tanner, Mylie, Jack, and Emma. and two brothers, Robert (May) Wierema of Chico, California and John (Annie) Wierema of Fulton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Phyllis.
