Kathy Stutzel, 63, of McCausland, Iowa, died Friday morning, February 24, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.

The family will receive friends at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, from 5:00 until 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. A service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home.

Kathleen Lynn Stutzel, was born Kathleen Lynn Litscher, March 8, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, to Lester Henry and Nelda Irene (Erps) Litscher. She was a 1966 graduate of North Scott High School. Kathy married Steven Stutzel, March 16, 1968 in Low Moor, Iowa. She worked for over 30 years for the Scott County Assessor's Office and retiring as the Office Administrator.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, McCausland. Kathy was a pet lover, loved to play cards and enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Daniel Stutzel and his wife, Jessica of DeWitt, Iowa, and Darcy Schneider of McCausland; grandchildren, Annie Stutzel, Haley Schneider and Austin Schneider; siblings, Roger Litscher and his wife, Terri of Hiawatha, Iowa, and Patricia Litscher of McCausland; her loving dog, Rudy.

Preceding Kathy in death were her parents.
