Thomas Lee Montague, 60, of DeWitt, Iowa, died Saturday morning, February 11, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center-DeWitt.

He was born June 25, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Melvin and Janet (Griffith) Montague. Tom married Edna Schwartz, December 31, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He served in the United States Navy as a X-Ray Technician for 20 years.

Surviving Tom, are his wife, Edna; his mother, Janet Heiserman of Moore, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Roberta Montague of Norway, Iowa, and Robert E. and Barbara Montague of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister, Barbara Rucker of Yukon, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends may meet at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, at 12:00 noon Friday, February 17, 2012 for a procession led by the Patriot Guard Riders to the Rock Island National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois.
