Eugene "Andy" Anderson

Eugene "Andy" Anderson, 67, Calamus, died Wednesday at Jane Lamb Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Calamus with the Rev. William McAlpine officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Military rites will be conducted by Calamus American Legion Post 466.

Visitation is after 7 p.m. Thursday and after 2 p.m. at Kelly-Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound.

Mr. Anderson was born July 12, 1908 in Charlotte. He married Esther Chase April 6, 1946 in DeWitt.

He had been a truck driver for Western Transportation. Mr. Anderson served in the infantry during World War II. He was a member of Calamus American Legion and United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, a son, Harry Goodell, Clinton, two daughters, Mrs. Sherman (Betty) Guender, Chadwick and Mrs. Steven (Gloria) O'Donnell, Calamus; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a daughter
