Susan M. Proko, 55, of Camanche, died Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche. Serving as pallbearers will be Vern Morrow, Bill Hansen, Eric Streed, Roger Hansen, Stacey Hoenicke, and Jamie Liddle. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-6:00pm at the funeral home.

Susan Marie Anderson was born on November 11, 1955 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Raymond and Dolores (Hansen) Anderson. She married Thomas Proko on September 26, 1998 in Clinton.

Susan was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family, Facebook,traveling, camping, and her pets. Sue loved to have company over at the house for barbeques. Above all, Sue loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her husband: Tom of Camanche; one daughter: Tammy (William) Schwartz of Camanche, 4 sons: Chad Stuhlman of DeWitt, Curt (Crystal) Stuhlman of Clinton, Matthew Lind of Denver, Colorado, and Tanner Proko of Camanche; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Judith Proserpi of Mt. Enterprise, Texas and Cathy (Roger) Streed of Camanche; 5 brothers: Thomas (Benita) Anderson of Sigourney, Iowa, Raymond (Mary) Anderson of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Michael (Debbie) Anderson of Mt. Enterprise, Texas, Terry Anderson of Clinton, and Keith (Sue) Anderson of DeWitt; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: David.
