Clinton - Kathryn J. Fain age 76 of Clinton died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. There will be no visitation or services. Kathryn deeded her body to the Anatomy Department at the University of Iowa.

Kathryn was born in Clinton on August 16, 1934, the daughter of Frederick A. and Lucille K. Tallett Bahnsen. She graduated from Lyons High School. Kathryn married Peter Nassif in Clinton. He preceded her in death. She had worked at the Savanna Army Depot, the Clinton Herald and at A.C. Nielsen Company. She was a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary.

Kathryn is survived by two sisters; Dorothy Johansen of Waterloo, WI and Lois (Edward) Griffith of Owensboro, KT and several cousins including Tom (Sharon) Craig of Clinton.
