Clinton - Jessie M. Brown age 83 of Clinton died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Sunday, March 27th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:30 P.M. until the service time Sunday at the funeral home. Following the services cremation rites will be accorded with burial at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

Jessie was born in Burlington, Iowa on March 13, 1928, the daughter of Louis and Ruth Newland Sattler. She was educated in the Burlington schools. Jessie married Maurice Brown on July 24, 1949 in Burlington. Maurice died on June 12, 2009. Jessie had worked with National Research in Burlington and later with A.C. Nielsen in Clinton until retiring in 1987. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.

Jessie is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Al) McClimon of Clinton; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a sister, Lonetta. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Louis, Art and Neil. Online condolences may be left atwww.papefh.com
