Bryant, Iowa - Gary M. Holton age 64 of Bryant, IA, died Wednesday March 16, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Monday, March 21st at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday
3 – 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be his grandchildren, Jessaca, Brandon, Kyle, Justin, James, Jacob, Joshua, David, and Nickolas. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Gary was born on Aug. 14, 1946 in Clinton, IA, the son of William and Cleone (Lewis) Holton. He graduated from CHS in 1964. He married Diana Seymour on Aug. 28, 1964 in Clinton. He worked at Hawkeye Chemical as an A Operator until his accident in 1985. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Clinton Rifleman’s Assoc. He enjoyed hunting, playing softball, fishing, model airplanes, hunting mushrooms, and watching NASCAR.

Gary is survived by his wife, Diana Holton of Bryant; a son, Jeff (Brenda) Holton of Mt. Vernon, IN; a daughter, Tammy (John) Bachelder of Clinton; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons; a brother, William (Loetta) Holton of Albany, IL; and two sisters, Gayleen (Gene) Beavers of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Karen (Furman) Doty of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
