Mrs. William J. Jackson

Mrs. William J. Jackson, 58, 216 Lee Ct., died Sunday evening. The body is in the Shadduck funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. G. Dempster Yinger of the First Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

Gladys Lee, daughter of the late William and Angie Lee, was born Oct. 15, 1901, in Low Moor. She has lived in Clinton for half a century. She was a member of the First Methodist church and the American Legion auxiliary. She was married March 17, 1920, to William J. Jackson, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Joseph of Clinton; two daughters, Mrs Mary M. Eggers of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Jeanette Huling of Point Magu, Calif.; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Willard E. Lee of Clinton and Melvin and Robert Lee of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Gertrude) Johnson, Mrs. Leonard (Rhu) Walton and Mrs. Leonard (Mildred) Chekal, all of Clinton; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four children, a brother and a sister.
