Mona B. (Mrs. Charles) Zogg, 95, Donahue, died Saturday morning, March 5, 2011 in Apache Junction, Arizona, where she had resided for over 20 years.

Mrs. Zogg, the former Mona Bernice Mucha was born Ausust 5, 1915 in Muscatine. She married Charles "Hack" Zogg Sept. 8, 1934, in Davenport. They lived in the Donahue area for more than 50 years. Mona was a homemaker much of her life. Charles preceded her in death on December 2, 1984.

Mona enjoyed walking every morning with her friends, traveling, making quilts for her family, and staying in touch with many friends and family through letters. Family was very important to Mona and she missed very few family reunions throughout her lifetime.

Surviving are her children, Charles (Georgia) Zogg, Princeton, Robert Zogg, Davenport, Nadine Hurst, Fillmore, Illinois, Lauraine (Neal) Kludy, Mesa, Arizona, Richard Zogg, Donahue, Mona Jean (Jerry) Cryer, Mesa, Linda (Robert) McKillip, Walcott, and Ronald (Cindy) Zogg, Bettendorf; 27 loving grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Charles, Mona was preceded in death by daughters-in-law, Judy Zogg and Ruth Zogg, a son-in-law, Joe Hurst, sisters, Blanche Gannaway, Maura Ahlf and Eunice Kyle, brothers, Glenn and Farrel Mucha, and her parents, Anthony and Lydia (Sells) Mucha.

Family and friends may visit at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Allens Grove Cemetery, Donahue.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Zogg, Brent Zogg, Brian Zogg, Brad Zogg, Ted Forsythe and Darin Council.
