Emil G. Buelow

Emil George Buelow, 93, formerly of 665 18th Ave. S., died at 1 p.m. Saturday in a Calamus Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul H. Bergdorf, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the Snell-Smith funeral home. The body will be taken to the church Tuesday noon where it will remain until the funeral hour.

Mr. Buelow was born April 23, 1869 in Valm, Prussia. He came to Washington state in 1864 moving then to Clinton where he resided for 70 years. He married Augusta Paasch, Nov. 3, 1895, in Clinton. He was a retired stone mason and contractor and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his widow; four sons, Albert, Emil, Walter, and Leo, all of Clinton; four daughters, Miss Eda Buelow of Greenfield, Iowa; Mrs. Otis (Minnie) Welch of Camanche; Mrs. Everett (Onie) Shinn and Mrs. Harold (Esther) Etnyre, both of Clinton; 18 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, and his parents.
