2/21/1949 - 2/19/2011Clinton - Samuel J. “Sam” Krajnovich age 61 of Clinton died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 26th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Sam was born in Clinton on February 21, 1949, the son of Robert and Harveyetta Nelson Krajnovich. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1967. Sam had worked as a laborer in the construction field. He had also been employed with Dairy Pak, A.D.M. Construction and with Sedona Staffing. Sam enjoyed fishing, reading, bike riding and cars. He followed the Chicago Bears and Cubs.
Sam is survived by four children; Sam (Miata) Krajnovich of Cedar Rapids, Elizabeth Krajnovich of Clinton, Bobbi (Tim) Geerts of Sabula and Scott Kuhl of Sabula, one grand daughter; three brothers, Robert (Wendy) Krajnovich of Clinton, Michael (Jaclyn) Krajnovich of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Barry (Sandy) Krajnovich of Brooker, FL; two sisters, Diana (James) Mussmann of Clinton and Betty Krajnovich of Stuart, FL; two step-sons, Ted Parker of Davenport and Tim (Sue) Parker of Clinton; a step-daughter, Tonya Parker of Clinton; seven step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Peter and a sister Roberta. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
