Clinton, Iowa - Joyce M. Cashatt age 76 of Clinton, died Thursday Sept. 30, 2010 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, Oct. 4th, at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John McElroy, Jim Cashatt, Josh and Griffin Liddle, and J.B. McElroy.

Joyce was born on July 31, 1934 in Arthur, WI the daughter of Guerdon and Agnes (Womack) Hughes. She was a homemaker and volunteered at the Mercy Ladies Auxiliary store and at the hospital in the coffee shop. She was a member of Lyons Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and helping people.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Tammie (John) McElroy of Clinton; a son, Jim Cashatt of Morrison, IL; three grandchildren, Charis, Tiffany, and J.B.; 2 great grandchildren; Griffin and Kassidy; a brother, Jerome Hughes of Rock Hills, SC; two sisters, Joan (John) Eacret of Coffey, MO and Judy Schaley of Clinton.
