Roger Schroeder

Roger A. Schroeder, 57, of Clinton, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at his home.

The family will greet friends Tuesday from 2:00-3:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. A prayer will conclude the visitation at 3:00pm.

Roger Alan Schroeder was born on January 25, 1953 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Homer and Betty (Campbell) Schroeder.

He graduated from Clinton High School in 1971. He then enlisted in the United States Army serving from 1971 until being honorably discharged in 1974.

He was employed at Collis Company in Clinton for 27 years as a Quality Technician retiring in 2008.

He enjoyed fishing and watching movies.

He is survived by his son: Jessy (Stacy) Schroeder of Clinton; five grandchildren: Autumn, Mason, and Hannah Schroeder and Kaylynn and Zayden Proud; his mother: Betty Schroeder of Clinton; his fiancé: Myta Walters of Clinton; one brother: Ron (Peggy) Schroeder of Clinton; two nieces: Marcy (Dan) Banker of Clinton, Sarah Riedmann of Sioux City, Iowa and one nephew: Samuel Joseph Schroeder of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his father: Homer and two nephews: Samuel Ryan and Joshua Schroeder.
