Clinton - Colleen Kathleen Duffy age 51 of Clinton died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 2nd at the Northside Church of God, 2035 No. 5th St. Clinton, with the Rev. Bob Larson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Nathan and Brandon Snyder, Kennedy Moore, Fred Bechtold and Spencer and Ryan Duffy. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Colleen was born in DeWitt, Iowa on July 19, 1959, the daughter of James R. and Janet E. Ryan Duffy. She graduated from Mt. St. Clare Academy in 1978 and received her LPN training at Clinton Community College. Colleen was a nurse at the Alverno Health Care Facility for seven years. She married Mark Snyder on February 16, 1980 in Clinton. Colleen was an avid reader, she followed the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers and enjoyed making intricate beaded jewelry.

Colleen is survived by Art Lawson with whom she has made her home for the last 16 years; two sons, Nathan Snyder and Brandon Snyder both of Clinton; a step-daughter, Marlena Lawson of Clinton; a grandson, Brady Newsom; a grand daughter, Hannah Cooper; three sisters, Roberta (Al)Davis of Seattle, WA, Erin Duffy of Rock Island and Paula (Fred Bechtold) Moore of St. Louis and a brother, Ryan (Kelly) Duffy of Westminster, CO.
