Clinton, Iowa - Christopher V. Jost age 46 of Clinton, died Thursday Aug. 19, 2010 at his home. According to his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Christopher was born on Jan. 18, 1964 in Clinton, the son of Arnold and Carol (Echelbarger) Jost. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1982. He had worked for Custom Pak as a machine operator for 13 years.

Christopher is survived by his mother, Carol Jost of Clinton; his brother, Randy (Shirley) Jost of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Cindy (Dan) Stockwell of Bellingham, WA, Linda (Don) Burken of Clinton, and Brenda Williams of Greenville, SC; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-Arnold in 2002, grandparents, and a brother-in-law, Terry in 2010.
