Jessica Anne Peavey Lemek died August 20, 2010 in her home in Arvada, CO, following a struggle with post partum psychosis.
Jessica was born in DeWitt, IA, Sunday February 26, 1978 at 12:01 a.m. to John and Barb Peavey. She married Donald James Lemek of Davenport, September 15, 2001. Jessica was a 1996 graduate of Central Clinton Community High School where she was President of her class, all four years. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Iowa with a BBA in Management Information Systems and Finance. While at Iowa, she was a sousaphone player in the Iowa Marching Band and President of the Delta Zeta sorority. In 2006, she earned a Master of Science in Accounting from University of Colorado. Jessica also was a CPA. In her career she worked in Financial Planning as well as Analysis and Modeling for Accenture Consulting. She finished her career as an executive at Chipotle Mexican Grill in Denver, CO.

Jessica is the mother of two beautiful children whom she adored. She enjoyed golfing, running, gardening and traveling with her husband. She lead and contibuted to many organizations in her community.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Don; children, Andrew, 3, and Hanna, 9 months; parents Barb Peavey and John Peavey (Sharon), DeWitt; sisters, Megan Skeffington (Wes), Clifton Park, NY, and Stephanie Peavey (Adam Fahrenkrog), Davenport, IA, and her grandmother, Florence Benshoof of Eldridge, IA.

A memorial services will be held Wednesday August, 25, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder, 5001 Pennsylvania Ave, Boulder, CO 80303.

Visitation in DeWitt, will be from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Saturday August 28, 2010 at Schultz Funeral Home, 722 8th Street, DeWitt, Iowa 52742. A service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
