Luella Good, 81, of Clinton passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Mercy Living Center – South Campus.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 24 at 1:00p.m. at Lemke Funeral Home – South Chapel with Pastor Chris Minor-Heilig officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Luella was born September 7, 1928, in Albany, IL, to Jabes and Josephine (Zeeryp) Geerts. She married Marvin Good May 10, 1946, in Clinton.

Luella was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, crocheting and family togetherness.

Survivors include two daughters, Barb (Lanny) Kruse, Clinton; Lu Sherwood, Oklahoma City, OK; 4 sons, Gene (Susan) Good, Inver Grove Heights, MN; Marvin (Laurel) Good, Jr, Clinton; Lee (Joan) Good, Charlotte, IA; and Ray (Marianne)Good of Manchester, IA; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mary (Harold) Woods, Clinton; 2 brothers, Clarence (Mary Lou) Geerts, Elwood, IA; and Paul (Penny) Geerts of Elwood, IA; 2 brother-in-laws, Melvin (Laquita) Good of Camanche, IA; and Bernard Engelkins, Fulton, IL.

Luella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
