Shirley A. Johnson, 75, of Clinton died Monday, June 21, 2010 at Bickford Cottage. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Shirley Ann Tucker was born on November 28, 1934 in Clinton, the daughter of James Patrick and Inez Ada (Bingaman) Tucker. She was a Clinton High School graduate. She married Arthur L. Johnson on December 17, 1960 in Fulton; he died on October 26, 2007.

She was a homemaker.

She loved traveling, fishing, and camping.

She is survived by one daughter: Linda (Dale) Smith of Camanche; one son: Steven (Cathy) Johnson of Camanche; one granddaughter: Jennifer (Jason) Hansen of Phoenix, AZ, and two great grandchildren: Tyler and Alexis Hansen of Phoenix, AZ.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Jimmie Pat in infancy, and one sister: Sharon Patrice in infancy.
