Clinton, IA - Elizabeth G. Cassiday age 96 of Clinton, died Wednesday April 28th, 2010 at her home. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 5th from 1 – 2 pm at the Pape Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will follow the visitation at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born on March 22, 1914 in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of Steve and Barbara (Moses) Gendvilas. She married Harlan Cassiday on March 31, 1940 in Clinton, he died in 1970. She worked for Collis Company and Curtis Company in Clinton.
She enjoyed cooking.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Allene Morgan of Clinton and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and four sisters. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
