5/31/1957 - 4/27/2010Camanche, IA - Thomas E. Shadle age 52 of Camanche, died Tuesday April 27, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN from injuries suffered in automobile accident. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday May 3rd at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Following the funeral service, cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Thomas was born May 31, 1957 in Clinton, the son of Marvin and Phyllis (Roggendorf) Shadle, Sr. He served in the US Army from 1976-1978. He own and operated his own semi truck with Decker Trucking in Fort Dodge, IA, which he dearly loved to drive.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Leighanne (Jeremy) Kerr of Clinton; a son, Jason Shadle of Clinton; a grandson and three step grandchildren; his special friend, Cindy Shadle of Clinton; his father, Marvin Shadle, Sr. of Clinton; three sisters, Sue (Jim) James of Camanche, Sally (Larry) Meggenberg and Sharon (Jeff) Niebuhr both of Clinton; and two brothers, Marvin Shadle Jr. of Clinton and Bruce (Lorraine) Shadle of Camanche.
