Albany, MN, formerly of Delmar, IA - William J. Fullan age 88 of Albany, MN, formerly of Delmar, IA, died Friday April 23, 2010 in Albany, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 10:30 am at Assumption Catholic Church in Charlotte. Visitation will be held Friday 9:30 am until the service hour at the church. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton is assisting the family. Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Charlotte.

William was born on March 4, 1922 in Aberdeen, SD, the son of James and Florence (McDermott) Fullan. He graduated from Delmar High School in 1939. He served in the US Navy from 1941-1946. He married Frances Butler in 1946 in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. He later married Lois Dusenbury in 1967 in Reno, NV. William was a Certified Public Accountant and served as County Auditor in Del Norte County in California for two terms.

William is survived by his wife, Lois Fullan of Albany, MN; five sons, James (Karen) Fullan, Terrence (Lorraine) Fullan, Dennis (Kathi) Fullan, Eric (Kris) Fullan all of Portland, OR, and Sean (Lucinda) Fullan of New York, NY; three step children, Joseph (Peggy) Dusenburry of Seattle, WA, Peggy (Gordon) Hayes of Portland, OR, and Ona (Dale) Lawrence of Albany, MN; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a brother, John (Audrey) Fullan of Clinton, IA; and two sisters, Ruth Sleeper of San Francisco, CA and Florence Greer of Red Bluff, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leonard and Cyril, and a sister, Mary. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
