Clinton, IA - Marian E. Stuedemann age 89 of Clinton died Sunday April 25, 2010 at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 pm at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Clinton Historical Society.

Marian was born on Nov. 3, 1920 in Maquoketa, IA, the daughter of Raymond and Charlotte (Gable) Eby. She married Kenneth Akin in 1938 in Maquoketa. She later married Lawrence Stuedemann on April 28, 1958 in Davenport, IA, he died in 2001. Marian was a homemaker and enjoyed painting, bird watching, flowers, and gardening. She was involved with the Clinton Historical Society.

Marian is survived by her two daughters, Merrily Point of Clinton and Nancy (Dale) Schoolman of Glendale, AZ; a son, Kenneth (Jane) Akin of Sturgeon Bay, WI; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, and a brother. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
