Doris Ann Maltas, 76, of Clinton, IA, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Alverno.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
She was born February 8, 1934, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of George and Anna (Banker) Smith. Doris was a St. Mary’s High School graduate. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Doris worked for Jim Walters provided child care for more than twenty years and had been employed at the Rich Toy Factory.
Survivors include her children, Debbie (Don) Dunlavy, Terry (Tammy) Maltas, Vicki (Carl) Brunson and Jodie Lippens all of Clinton; son-in-law, Mike Motroni of Clinton; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; her sister, LaVerne Workman and sister-in-law, Norma Smith both of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie Motroni; and brother, Lorrin Smith.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
