The Clinton Herald Saturday December 11, 1999 p. 11 The funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Preson, for Dorothy C. Blossfeld, 92, of Bellevue. She died Friday in the Jackson County Hospital. The Rev. Don Bakewall will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston, where a 7:30 p.m. Scripture wake service will be conducted. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. She was born Feb. 7, 1907, in Fairfield Township, Jackson County, Iowa, to H.J. and Anna Pankow Lehmkuhl. She married Seeman B. Blossfled, Dec. 27, 1927. He died April 30, 1984. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Watt of Santa Ana, Calif.; five sons, Robert Blossfeld of Grand Rapids, Mich., William Blossfeld of Benton, Ky., James Blossfeld of Dearborn, Mich., Jack Blossfeld of Green Valley, Ariz., and Seeman Blossfeld of Dexter, Mich.; 29 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister, Laura Stoll of Miles. She was preceded in death by four brothers. Death date: Dec. 10, 1999.
