DUBUQUE — Lawrence H. Schultz, 51, of Dubuque, formerly of DeWitt and Reynolds, Ill., died Monday, February 15, 2010, at his home.A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 801 Edgington St., Reynolds. Memorials may be made to the wrestling program of Rockridge High School, Edgington, Ill., or given to the family.Larry was born on February 9, 1959, in Rock Island, a son of Charles and Ruth Sproston Schultz. He married Jill Parisen in October 1983 in New Jersey.He was a graduate of Rockridge High School where he was a member of the wrestling team and represented the high school in the state wrestling tournament finals three years in a row. Larry received his bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University and his law degree from the Drake University Law School. He was an attorney in private practice in DeWitt and had served as the Clinton County attorney for 12 years.He is survived by his children, Scott, a student at the University of New Haven, West Haven, Conn., and Sam and Emma at home in Wayne, NJ; brothers, James Schultz and his wife, Jane, Reynolds and Tom Schultz, Peoria Heights, Ill.; a sister, Mary Ann Reed and her husband, Don, Sherrard, Ill.; brother-in-law, Edward Freeman, Clarksville, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
