Mildred Wilson 08/16/2001 DELMAR, Iowa -- Services for Mildred S. Wilson, Delmar, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Delmar United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, rural Maquoketa. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Carson & Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa. Mrs. Wilson died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2001, at Maquoketa Care Center. She taught grade school in the Baldwin, Delmar, Welton and Goose Lake schools. Mildred Penningroth was born Jan. 31, 1911, in Wellman. She married Ira Wilson in 1934 in Buck Creek. He died in 1979. Memorials may be made to Mildred S. Wilson Memorial Fund. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Seivert, Sioux City; a son, Richard, Middletown, Ind.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Roland Penningroth, DeWitt, Wayne Penningroth, Earlville, and Ergon Penningroth, Maquoketa.
