COLUSA, Calif. — JoAnne Johnson, 75, of Colusa, CA, passed away on February 17, 2010, in Chico, CA. Born June 7, 1934, in Iowa to the late James and Alvina Owen. A Colusa County resident for the past 12 years.JoAnne was a homemaker for over 60 years. Survivors include her son, Gregory Johnson II of Oxford, Iowa; daughter, Debra Nitschke of Clinton, Iowa; daughter, Bonnie Morrison of Clinton, Iowa; son, James Johnson of Chico, CA; daughter, Jenifer Johnson of Hamilton City, CA; brother, James Owen of DeWitt, Iowa; sister, Jeanne Dean of Iowa; sister, Janet Owen of Camas, WA; sister, Jenny Owen of Beaverton, OR; sister, Jude Moss of Coralville, Iowa; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Johnson Sr.; and brothers, John and Jerry Owen.Services will be private at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made in JoAnne's name to the American Heart Assoc., 1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010Online condolences may be made at www.mcnarymoorefuneralservice.com.Death date: Feb. 17, 2010
