CLINTON — Anne M. Jensen, age 74, of Clinton, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.Anne was born on Jan. 25, 1935, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of George and Sarah Ellen (Dexter) Jensen. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1953. She worked at Pillsbury Co. as a bookkeeper and Waukesha Motors for 25 years as the plant manager secretary. She was a member of Community Congregational Church UCC, where she was secretary. She enjoyed playing the piano and writing poetry. She was an avid bowler, Iowa Hawkeye basketball fan and played softball for many years. Anne is survived by a brother, Dexter (Patricia) Jensen of Camanche; a sister, Lynn Hinrichsen of Penbrook Pine, FL; and four nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, June Pollack; and a nephew, Tom Jensen. Death date: Oct. 10, 2009
