SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Maxine Crawford died on September 20th in Sioux Falls, SD.She was born on May 2, 1924 in Maquoketa, IA to Herbert and Nellie Crawford. She graduated from Maquoketa High School and attended X-ray tech school in Clinton, IA. She was employed at Jane Lamb Hospital in Clinton, IA before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Maxine moved to Sioux Falls three years ago and resided at Luther Manor.Her interests included playing cards, reading, knitting, crossword puzzles and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her brother, Glen (Joan) Crawford, Maquoketa, IA, Marilyn Henderson, Sioux Falls, SD, David Crawford and Nan Tracy, Maquoketa, IA, Suellen Olson, Albany, IL, Joanne Dietrick, Camanche, IA, Christine Severson, Richmond, VA, Jim Savory, Galesburg, IL, and Tom Savory, Evergreen Park, IL. The family will have a private service in Maquoketa at a later date.Death date: Sept. 20, 2009
