CLINTON — Jacque L. Housenga, 65, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Fulton, IL, with the Pastor Wayne Wiersema of Gateway Faith Fellowship, Fulton, IL, officiating. Visitation is from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment is at the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials have been established by the family.Jacque was born January 15, 1944 in Clinton, IA. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and attended Fulton High School. He married Beverly Huizenga on August 21, 1964 in Fulton, IL. Jacque enjoyed being an over the road truck driver for the majority of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with family, grandchildren and friends. More recently he had become a passionate NASCAR fan.Survivors include mother Gertrude Housenga of Fulton, IL; one daughter, Renee (Housenga) Johnson of Fulton, IL; two sons, Shane (Jennifer) Housenga of Morrison, IL, and Darin Housenga of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren, Tyler and Alexander Johnson, and Logan and Braden Housenga; four sisters, Lorna (Harlan) Houzenga of Morrison, IL, Barbara (Dave) Grater of Morrison, IL, Vicki (Joe) Moellenbeck of Port Byron, IL, and Joan Ward of Clinton, IA; and special friends, Bob (Sheila) Stickel and Family of Teeds Grove, IA.Jacque was preceded in death by his father, Edward Housenga; one daughter, Kimberly Housenga; and one son, Joseph Housenga.To send online condolences go to www.bosmarenkes.com.Death date: Aug. 26, 2009
