The Clinton Herald Tuesday March 27, 1973 p. 8 Mrs. Edna Mae Bahnsen, 88, formerly of 2309 Dunham St., died this morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Werner Wilke, 565 First Ave. She had resided with her daughter for the past three years. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Snell-Smith Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m. today. The parish Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be Victor Finnicum, Fred Finnicum, Charles Turner, Joseph Davis, Steven Bahnsen, Grant Wilke, Gary Wilke and Rupert Wuckerpfenning. Mrs. Bahnsen was born June 10, 1884, in Joplin, Mo., the daughter of Harry and Josephine Cullen Green. She married Charles Bark, Nov. 27, 1913, in Peoria. He died Jan. 18, 1919. She married Chris bahnsen, March 4, 1920, in Clinton. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Eagles Auxiliary, and was a nurses' aide for 17 years at Mercy Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Werner (Alberta) Wilke of Clinton and Mrs. Jack (Marie) O'Neil of Camanche; one son, Chris Jr., Clinton; one step-daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Bahnsen of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, one son and one daughter in infancy.
