HARRY E. [Ellis] MEWHERTER

Harry E. Mewherter, 63, 1720 [???]rge street, who moved to Sioux City last week, died Sunday morning at a hospital. [July 31, 1949]

Mr. Mewherter was born July 12, 1886, at Fredonia, Ia. He was married to Gladys Krall at Burlington, Colo., in 1946 and had lived in Denver from that time until he came to Sioux City in July.

Survivors include the widow, a daughter. Charlotte and a son Harry, jr., all of Sioux City; two sons by a former marriage, Richard of Maywood, Ca., and Gail of Whittier, Ca., and a brother, Lyle of Coudersport, Pa.

The body was taken to the Heaton funeral home.
