The Clinton Herald Wednesday August 26, 1992 p. 12 Ann Margaret Marcucci, 85, formerly of Clinton, died Monday in Sandalwood Nursing Center in Wheaton, Ill. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Ronald Young officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Delaney-Vullich Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael, Joseph, Anthony, Chuck and Mike Marcucci, Jeffery Ansani and Gregg Hassett. Mrs. Marcucci was born Aug. 6, 1907, in Chicago, to Felix and Catherine McAuliffe Lotts. She married Charles Marcucci, June 9, 1930, in Clinton. He died in July of 1986. She attended the Sacred Heart Schools in Chicago and was a graduate of Mount St. Clare Academy in Clinton. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Daughters of Isabella, Catholic Order of Foresters and the altar and rosary society. Mrs. Marcucci and her husband owned and operated Marcucci's, a well-known confectionery store on South Second Street in Clinton for many years. Survivors include three daugthers, Mrs. James (Marianna) Hassett of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Ansani of Osswego, Ill., and Mrs. Ralph (Ann) VanVickle of Carrollton, Texas; a son, Charles of Naperville, Ill.; 25 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Death date: Aug. 24, 1992.
