The Clinton Herald Saturday February 14, 1987 p. 14 Mrs. Albert (Juanita) Ploen, 81, of Leigh High Acres, formerly of Sabula and Clinton, died Wednesday at her home. A private memorial service was Friday in the Ploen Hoe, The body was cremated Inturnment will be held at a later date in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Ploen was born July 16, 1905, in Clinton County, to James and Emma Krauetzfeldt Mielke. She married Albert P. Ploen, Dec. 30, 1926, in Miles. The couple lived in Clinton and Sabula for many years moving to Leigh High Acres in 1982. She was a member of the Congregational Church, Clinton; and a long time member of Rebekah Lodge and Senior Citizens at Leigh High Acres and in Sabula. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. John (Cleo) North, of Harbert, Mich; two sons, Delbert of Minneapolis, Minn., and Kenneth of Winnepeg, Canada; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
