The Clinton Herald Tuesday July 20, 1948 p. 10 Anthony Marcucci, 51, died yesterday afternoon in his home, 1003 North Fourth street. He was born Jan. 1, 1897, in Lucca, Italy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Marcucci, and came to the United States at the age of 12. He had been in business here since 1919. Prior to that he lived in Villisca. He is survived by his wife; his father, Lawrence Marcucci, Chicago; and four brothers, Guy, Mark and Ozzie, all of Chicago, and August of Tama. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister. Private funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in the Delaney funeral home with members of the immediate family and other relatives in attendance. Friends may call until the funeral hour. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

The Clinton Herald Wednesday July 21, 1948 p. 10 Funeral services for Anthony Marcucci, 51, who died Monday, were held this morning in the Delaney funeral home. The Rev. Harvey F. Finefield, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic church, officiated. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery with Father Finefield officiating at the committal services. Pallbearers were Emil Marcucci, James Pitts, Charles Fletcher, Peter Rastrelli, Charles Pranger and Kenneth Mangler. Attending the services from Chicago were Mr. and Mrs. Guy Marcucci, Mrs. P. Contri, Mrs. Yolanda Hinckins and son, John A. Pasquinelli, Mrs. Yolanda Sodini, Mark Marcucci, Ozzie Marcucci, Peggy Bianchi, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pendola, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Zidron and Mr. and Mrs. Nello Marcucci. Attending from Geneva, Ill., were Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Giusti, Anthony Lenconi, Roland Giusti, John Nottolini and Mando Nottolini. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Emil Marcucci, of Maquoketa, Gus Marcucci of Tama, A. Marcucci, of Lincoln, Ill., and Mrs. J.D. Sodini, of Oelwein.
