CLINTON — Mildred J. Hansen, 96 of Clinton passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Mercy Living Center North. Visitation will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Lemke Funeral Homes — South Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes — South Chapel with Chaplain Horst Hehr officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Mildred Jennifer Hansen was born on November 9, 1912 in Chicago, IL to James and Mildred (Khyn) Adams. She graduated from Sweet Grass County High School in Big Timber, MO in 1930. She married Martin F. Hansen on July 24, 1932 in Morrison, IL. She worked for Products Unlimited in Sabula, IA on the assembly line. She loved to garden and loved animals. Surviving her are five sons, Martin (Marie) Hansen, Jr. of Savanna, IL; Richard (Linda) Hansen of Clinton, IA; Robert (Amy) Hansen of Tucson, AZ; Arnold Hansen of Clinton, IA and Clarence (Mary) Hansen; 23 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and two sisters, Blanche Van Arnam of Davenport, IA and Sylvia Schryver of Long Grove, IA. Her husband, two daughters, two sons, one sister and three brothers preceded her. Memorials will be established. Condolences can be written online at www.lemkefuneral.com.Death date: April 11, 2009
