FULTON, Ill. — Harvie B. Harmon, age 77, of Fulton, IL, died Sunday April 19, 2009, at Mercy South Living Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1825 16th St. NW, Clinton. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Raymond Sneed, Keith and Corey Robinson, Michael and Tim Dauen and Robert Belonga. Harvie was born on April 4, 1932, in Delhart, TX, the daughter of George and Daisy (Gay) Buchanan. She married John Harmon on Nov. 25, 1967, in Las Vegas, NV; he died in 1984. Harvie worked for McDonald-Douglas in Torrance, CA, as a plastics fabricator, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church in Clinton and enjoyed gardening, babysitting grandchildren and taking them fishing. Harvie is survived by her three daughters, Betty (Mark) Robinson of Fulton, IL, Terri Magee of Clinton and Lori Sneed of Fulton, IL; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, J.D. Buchanan of Boise, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, four brothers, her granddaughter, and two great-grandsons.
