LaVonne Dekker 03/25/2002 CLINTON, Iowa -- Mass of the Christian Burial for LaVonne E. "Terry" Dekker, Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Homes and Crematory. Mrs. Dekker died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton. LaVonne Estelle Miller was born July 20, 1926, in Clinton, Iowa. She married Harold L. Dekker on March 31, 1974, in Clinton. She was a public relations director and marketing officer at First National Bank, in Clinton for 10 years retiring in 1974. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband, Harold, Clinton; daughters, Deborah Smith, Clinton, and Cindy Heck, Maquoketa, Iowa; a son, Michael Bock, West Des Moines, Iowa; step-daughter, Ann Wolf, West Des Moines, Iowa; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Miller, Ames, Iowa.
