Robert Benoit 02/11/2001 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Robert E. Benoit, Clinton, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton, with military services by Clinton AMVETS Post 28. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Benoit died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Bluff Terrace Nursing Home, Clinton. He had worked in the tool and die department at Collis Co. He retired in 1992. He was born July 9, 1929, in Harlan. He married Dolores Petersen in 1966 in Clinton. During World War II, he served in the Air Force. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his wife, Dolores; a son, Michael, Clinton; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
