Henry Soenksen 11/16/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Henry G. "Bud" Soenksen, of 5527 44th Ave. S., will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Soenksen died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at the railroad crossing in the 5800 block of 44th Avenue South, rural Clinton County. He was a lifelong farmer and had worked at Pinkerton Security Services, Moline. He was employed nearly 14 years as a security guard at Equistar Chemicals, Clinton. He was born May 8, 1925, in Clinton. He married Catherine "Katie" Inman in 1951 in Clinton. She died in 1989. A memorial fund has been established. Survivors include sons, Gary, Burlington, and Greg, Cedar Rapids; five grandsons; a great-grandson; and sisters, Allene Daldorf, Clinton, and Mona Pebsworth, Morris.
