The Clinton Herald Monday January 18, 1954 p. 8 Bennie A. Buckley, 61, of 1644 8th Ave. S., died in his home Sunday following an illness of several months. The body reposes at the Dalton funeral home where friends may call beginning at 8 p.m. today. Funeral services there are planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. G.A. Fairbanks of Community church officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery. A native of Clinton, he was born April 15, 1893, to Mr. and Mrs. Seymor Buckley. For the past 20 years he had been employed at the Clinton Foods plant as a machinist. He was married to Pearl Bickford in Clinton Community church, March 17, 1951. Surviving are his wife; a daughter and son by a previous marriage, Mrs. Harry (Helen) Spooner and Benoit Buckley, both of Clinton; two step-children; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his first wife.
